I’m standing for local government in the Berri Barmera District.

I passionately believe that the Riverland is at a tipping point, the Riverland is a great place to live and a beautiful community with spirit and heart, but to fully realise that potential we need vision and courage. I don’t have all the answers – no one does, and it’d be naive of me to assume that at 25 I even have half of them! But what i do have is vision, passion and the willingness and determination to give my time for the most menial of tasks to achieve that vision.

I have a vision for the Riverland that we can continue to be and grow into an even more vibrant, diverse and welcoming community. I have a vision for a Riverland that attracts professionals and investments based on a rich and passionate community and cultural life. My vision is built on active citizenship, inspiring grass roots action, working together across generations and supporting young people to create opportunities for themselves.

I don’t want to stand on a soap box and tell anyone ‘you should vote for me because I’ll do this, this and this’, that isn’t realistic and I want to be more than just talk – I want to listen.
